Emma Ward, MSW Graduate Student

As a therapist, I believe that it is important to love yourself before you can take care of and love others. Everybody needs different resources to be able to care for themselves, which is where I come in as a therapist. I am here to empower you throughout your journey and provide resources to support you and help you become mentally well. My experience lies in trauma-focused work with children, teens, adults, and families, where I help with life transitions, depression, anxiety, and other life stressors.

Working together, we will use a variety of techniques to help guide you. Some of these include examining your strengths through a strengths-based perspective, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, mindfulness techniques, and many more. There is no technique that works best on its own, so we will combine and customize techniques that work best for you. Throughout our therapeutic journey, we will work together to help you love and support yourself, working towards your goals to achieve mental wellness.
