Ethel Mogilevsky, LLMSW
Times are very tough right now, but reaching out for help should not be. By asking for help you are already taking the first step to making your mental health a priority. As a therapist, I provide an inclusive and empathetic space for my clients to begin the healing journey. Opening up to a stranger is scary and I am here to make that first step less frightening. I do not approach therapy as a one-size fits all style. People are unique and their environment and experiences make them who they are.
I come from a trauma-informed background. I have therapeutic interests in sexual dysfunction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and working with adolescents, couples, and families. I use aspects of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and techniques from expressive art therapy. Together, we can create goals to foster a space for you to heal. I Received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in women, gender, and sexuality studies from Kalamazoo College and my masters in social work from the University of Michigan. Together we can work together on taking the next step on bettering your mental health journey. We are in this together. I am honored to be on the journey with you. |
