Maggie Wyatt, MSW Graduate Student
Seeking support is never as simple as it seems, and I admire the courage in those deciding to reach out. I value the power and strength in the client-therapist bond, and I recognize that this bond must be nourished with empathy, authenticity, and genuine care.
I believe in a holistic approach to psychotherapy, incorporating the connection between the mind, body, and soul into practice. I offer a safe environment for self-exploration and the development of a collaborative treatment plan, tailored to the specific strengths and opportunities of each client. Multiple treatment modalities are utilized in my practice, including relational-cultural therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy. Attachment theory also informs my practice, as it encourages healing through the exploration of our experiences in close relationships. My specialty areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and transitional stages of life. |
